Plain-English summary
A pony was brought in showing signs of weakness and pale gums. Tests revealed bleeding in the abdomen and low blood cell counts, indicating serious health issues. Unfortunately, further examination after the pony passed away showed that it had a type of cancer called hemangiosarcoma in the spleen, which had spread to other organs like the lungs and liver. This case highlights the importance of early detection and treatment of serious conditions in pets.
