Original publication title: [Atrial dissociation in a boxer with a carcinoma of the middle ear].

Species:
dog

Plain-English summary

A 9-year-old male Boxer was brought in with severe neck pain, a tilted head (torticollis), and an irregular heartbeat. Tests like an ECG and echocardiogram revealed atrial dissociation, a heart issue where the upper chambers beat independently. Further examination found a mass in the ear, which was diagnosed as a carcinoma (cancer) of the middle ear. The treatment plan would likely involve addressing both the heart condition and the cancer, but specific outcomes were not detailed.
