Abstract

Abstract
Attachment of the mesh to the sacral anterior longitudinal ligament is a key step during sacrocolpopexy. The debate about using sutures versus surgical anchors started with the first report of the procedure in 1961 and continues to date. Regardless of the method of attachment, knowledge about the anatomy of presacral space is crucial for success and safety.
