Abstract

Lymphomas are a type of cancer that mainly affects the immune system and the adjoining organs that make it up. Pathologies in animals are a very extensive branch within veterinary medicine. One of the most common diseases in dogs is lymphoma. Canine lymphomas can occur in different parts of the body, but the most common are metacentric. Lymphomas are usually visible, because in most cases, this cancer shows certain obvious symptoms, especially cutaneous ones, which are easier to identify, since they occur in the first immunological layer of the animal. Lymphomas can occur in any species of dog, but there are some cases that can mark or trigger the appearance of a lymphoma in a specific breed, usually in large breeds, but this is not completely certain when determining the cause apparent appearance of lymphoma. Currently, science has evolved on a large scale, which has allowed the expansion of treatments to control cancer. It should be noted that, in dogs, the treatments are much milder, compared to that of humans, but surprisingly it is much more effective if it is treated on time.
