Abstract
Possible proconvulsant action of GABAreceptor antagonist CGP46381 was studied 3 and 13 days after status epilepticus elicited in 12-day-old rats. GABAA-dependent activity was tested by pentylenetetrazol administration and found different in 15-day-old rats after status epiolepticus but not in the older group. The interaction of the two GABAergic systems should be studied in detail.
