Abstract
SUMMARY Testicular maturation in 2 inbred rabbit lines (race A and race B) was investigated by light microscopy of histologic sections. At 10-day intervals, photographs were made of testicular tissue from rabbits from 2 weeks old until spermatozoa appeared. In race A rabbits, spermatozoa appeared as early as 109 days, but testes of the race B rabbits did not contain spermatozoa as late as 160 days.
