Abstract
We present the complete genome sequences of <i>Vibrio</i> sp. strains that degrade algal sulfated polysaccharide, ulvan. Polysaccharide utilization loci (PULs) were found in all ulvan-utilizing strains. A comparison of PULs between <i>Alteromonas</i> and <i>Vibrio</i> will elucidate the ulvan degradation pathway.
