Abstract

This case involves a 48-year-old man who presented with persistent epigastric pain unresponsive to standard therapies. Diagnostic evaluation identified a spontaneous isolated dissection of the celiac axis artery, a rare vascular condition. In the absence of additional pathologies, endovascular management with a self-expanding MicroNet-covered stent was selected for treatment due to its potential to preserve collateral branches and prevent distal embolization. This is the first case of its kind reported in the literature. The procedure successfully resolved the dissection and resulted in significant symptom improvement. At 1-year follow-up, the patient remained asymptomatic.
