Plain-English summary

Two West Highland white terrier puppies were brought in showing signs of heart failure, including difficulty breathing and irregular heartbeats. Unfortunately, both puppies were diagnosed with a rare heart condition that was only confirmed after they passed away. This congenital heart defect caused serious health issues, leading to their symptoms. Sadly, no treatments were effective in saving them due to the severity of their condition.
