Abstract
The presentation and history of presentation is valuable to multiprofessional teams in assessing, diagnosing and treating canine conditions. The cause of neurological changes and sudden onset of illness can be very hard to establish but nevertheless the cause is fundamental to giving the appropriate care. The following case study is an example of an unusual presentation and the pathway of care that led to the diagnosis of a condition called idiopathic polyradiculoneuritis. This case study follows the dog through its recovery, the benefits of physiotherapy and hydrotherapy, and also the benefits of multidisciplinary discussions and the roles that individuals play.
