Abstract
THE main use of indwelling jugular catheters is for the administration of intravenous fluids. Proper placement and fixation of these catheters is important so that a minimum of problems are encountered during the administration of fluid therapy. This photographic essay will show one method of fixation that has been used on many canine patients with few complications.
