Abstract
SUMMARY Streptococci isolated from the mammary glands and milk samples of guinea pigs were tested against lancefield group-specific antiserums a through G. Of 35 isolates of streptococci examined, 1 each was reactive with B, C, D, and G groups of antiserums, and 2, with E group of antiserum. Reaction was not observed with the other 29 isolates of treptococci.
