Abstract
In this study, we present a demonstration of textile-integrated moisture and sweat management through the implementation of a low-power, textile-integrated electroosmosis pump (EOP). By strategically reducing the distance between electrodes, we have developed a device design that significantly decreases power consumption. At 2.5 V, the device showcases a water flux of 205 mg min<sup>-1</sup> cm<sup>-2</sup>, requiring only 0.79 W of power, marking a substantial advancement in moisture permeability performance compared to previous membrane-based electroosmotic pumps. Moreover, beyond driving liquid flow, our study demonstrates the capability of managing moisture and humidity by effectively transporting water vapor. This work represents a promising step forward in the development of efficient, low-power solutions for textile-integrated moisture management systems.
