Abstract
<h4>Objectives</h4>This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of magnesium supplementation for preventing episodic or chronic migraine in children and adults compared to usual pharmacological treatment or placebo. Secondary objective To evaluate the benefits and harms of magnesium supplementation in different groups, specifically in terms of equity-related characteristics such as economic status, age, or sex.
