Original publication title: [Metastasis of a mammary carcinoma in the central nervous system of a cat].
- Species:
- cat
Plain-English summary
A 17-year-old cat was found to have a mammary tumor that had spread to her brain, lungs, and kidneys. This was confirmed through tissue examinations after she passed away. Unfortunately, the cat's condition indicates that the cancer had advanced significantly, affecting multiple organs. Treatment options for similar cases may include surgery, chemotherapy, or palliative care, but the prognosis can be poor when cancer has metastasized.
