Abstract
SUMMARY Cutaneous streptothricosis was diagnosed and Dermatophilus congolensis was isolated from cutaneous lesions in the cottontail rabbit (Sylvilagus floridanus). The isolant was found to be biochemically and antigenically similar to isolants obtained from cattle.
