Abstract
The genusn. gen. (Phthiraptera: Ischnocera) is described and illustrated based on 2 new species of chewing lice from New Guinean birds in the genusWagler, 1829 (Passeriformes: Artamidae). These species are:n. sp. exStresemann, 1921, andn. sp. ex(Garnot, 1827).
