Plain-English summary
A 2.5-year-old female Persian cat was brought in due to ongoing eye discharge from both eyes. During the eye exam, the vet noticed excessive tearing and swelling in the upper right part of her eye. Tests revealed that fat from the eye socket had pushed forward, causing orbital fat prolapse. The cat was treated for this condition, and the specific treatment details were not mentioned, but addressing the fat prolapse typically helps resolve the symptoms.

Abstract
A two and a half-year-old female Persian cat was presented with a history of bilateral chronic ocular discharge. Epiphora bilateral mucous ocular discharge and a volume increase in bulbar conjunctiva on the dorsolateral quadrant of the right eye were noticed during routine ophthalmic examination.
