Plain-English summary

A 5-year-old mixed-breed dog was brought in with a tick infestation, which caused skin irritation and mild lesions. The veterinarian treated the dog with ozonated oil applied directly to the affected areas. After treatment, the dog's skin showed significant improvement, with reduced redness and healing of the lesions. This case suggests that ozonated oil can be effective in treating tick infestations in dogs.
