Plain-English summary
A 5-year-old mixed-breed dog was brought in for snapping at invisible flies, a behavior known as fly biting. The veterinarian conducted a thorough medical evaluation to understand the cause of this unusual behavior. While the exact reason for the fly biting wasn't determined, the vet ruled out any serious medical issues that could be causing the dog to act this way. Treatment options were discussed with the owner to help manage the behavior, and the dog was monitored for any changes.
