- dog
Plain-English summary
A 2-month-old female Tibetan terrier was brought back to the vet because her heart condition, known as patent ductus arteriosus (a problem with blood flow), wasn't fully fixed after treatment. During a second attempt to close the condition using a coil, a complication occurred where the coil ended up in the wrong artery. Fortunately, the vet was able to successfully remove the misplaced coil, helping to address the dog's heart issue.
