Abstract
SUMMARY The Magill anesthetic system is compared to the circle system as a means of administering inhalation anesthetics, using a high gas flow technique to prevent rebreathing. It is a satisfactory, safe, and simple means of administering inhalant anesthetics at fresh gas flow rates of 2 L./minute or more.
