Abstract

Lymphoma is a commonly encountered neoplasm in veterinary medicine. Various therapeutic protocols have been described that provide good short-to medium-term remission, but long-term prognosis tends to be poor. Most treatments involve chemotherapy, but lymphoma is also responsive to radiotherapy. Unfortunately, because of the systemic nature of the disease, full body irradiation is required; this can lead to marked adverse effects. Please note that not all medications mentioned in this article are licensed for the species and/or indication discussed.
