Abstract

Introduction: Haemangiosarcoma is an aggressive malignant neoplasm. Lomustine-anthracycline protocols extend survival times compared to splenectomy alone. Histological factors, and particularly the mitotic rate, should be taken into account when assessing treatment plans for this tumour.
