Abstract
In this article, the shear performance of GFRP perforated plate connectors is studied by simulated push-out experiments. Firstly, the modeling method, the intrinsic model, the parameter design, and the boundary conditions of the GFRP perforated plate push-out experiments are introduced in detail. The accuracy and dependability of the finite element modeling experiment are then confirmed by comparing the computed findings with the actual experimental results. Next, by varying the concrete strength, the penetrating steel reinforcement's diameter, the perforated plate's diameter, and the penetrating steel reinforcement's presence or absence, the impact of these parameters on the shear performance of GFRP perforated plate connectors was examined. The experimental findings demonstrate that the results of the finite element modeling agree well with the completed experimental findings from overseas. The shear capacity of GFRP perforated plate connectors may be affected by altering the concrete's strength grade, adding the penetrating steel reinforcements, adjusting the diameter of the penetrating steel reinforcements, or adjusting the aperture of perforated plates.
