Abstract

Excessive type I interferons during pregnancy are associated with poor pregnancy outcomes. Ding et al.demonstrate the pathogenic effects of the interferon-stimulated gene RSAD2 that drives adverse pregnancy outcomes through placental lipid accumulation, and further identify a promising therapeutic candidate.
