Abstract
Wildlife Vets International is working with the Zimbabwean Veterinary Department and Painted Dog Conservation, Zimbabwe, to vaccinate domestic dogs and cats to reduce the incidence of rabies and canine distemper. This should help to protect the painted dogs against these diseases, although at present they are still problems.
