Dixon, "Outcome of Laparoscopic Ventral Mesh Rectopexy for External Rectal Prolapse," Colorectal Disease 16, no. 11 (2014): 914-919, https://doi.org/10.1111/codi.12741. This Expression of Concern is for the above article, published online on 8 August 2014 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), and has been issued by agreement between the journal Editors-in-Chief, Sue Clark and Neil Smart; The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland; and John Wiley & Sons Ltd. The Expression of Concern has been agreed due to concerns raised regarding the legitimacy of the data reported and allegations of a lack of informed consent from patients who underwent the surgical procedure reported within.
