Original publication title: Intestinal pseudodiverticulosis in a cat.

Species:
cat

Plain-English summary

A 2-year-old domestic shorthair cat was brought to the vet because she was showing signs of heat (estrous behavior) four months after being spayed. During surgery to investigate, the vet discovered leftover ovarian tissue and several abnormal pouches in her intestines, known as pseudodiverticula. The vet was able to identify these pouches through tissue analysis. The cat's condition was addressed during the surgery, and she was treated accordingly.
