Plain-English summary
A 20-month-old female Mastiff was brought in because she suddenly became blind. A CT scan revealed a tumor affecting her optic chiasm and optic nerves, and further tests confirmed it was B-cell lymphoma, a type of cancer. Unfortunately, the dog did not survive, and the cancer was confirmed after her passing. This case highlights the occurrence of brain tumors in young dogs, which can lead to serious symptoms like sudden blindness.
